Anti Slip and Anti Fatigue
Good question; Looking for fatigue relief mats, he has some oil on the floor from time to time, what mat would we need?
I have two mats that come to mind first, keep in mind we do carry all matting products.
You mentioned anti-fatigue and slipping;
There are two ways to get anti slip and fatigue, the design of the mat and grit. Grit (Grit Tile) is small granules of metal shavings adhered to a hard plastic 12”x12” tile, you will “not slip” on these mats period, and that is where the anti fatigue comes from (not sliding and skidding around). These grit mats do tend to shed the grit and over time will have to be replaced, that is why they come in the 12”x12” size (only replace the ones needed). Lots of mats out that will say slip resistant or slip proof, but the grit mat will be your only mat that will not allow slipping.

Your second choice is a new product (Airomat) that gets its anti slip performance from the design. Keep in mind they can help with slipping but are not as good as the grit. These mats come with a large square openings about an 1”x1” with ¼” strips separating the openings. You get two things with the openings, they allow almost all of the oil to drain through and two your foot grabs down in the opening against the strips for better footing and reduced slipping. This mat is made of a softer PVC which gives you more fatigue relief, rolls up for easy cleaning. This mat comes in any width or length and any color or color combination (safety strips).

I have not heard back from the customer yet, but I will keep you posted if this helped or if we found a different solution.
